The Collectors Circle
F.P. Journe chronograph in red gold, standing on black stone

About

A small circle, by design.

The Collectors Circle was founded in Zurich in 2018 out of a shared passion for rare watches, and out of a gap: collectors had plenty of dealers and very few advisors.

We started with what we knew: sourcing the pieces that friends and clients could not find, verifying them properly and handing them over without noise. The network grew with every mandate. Today it spans manufactures, private collectors, brand specialists and auction houses across Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.

We hold a stock of interesting watches, but we do not represent any brand. That is deliberate: our advice has one direction, yours. Since 2018 we have advised private collectors and family offices, on single acquisitions and on entire collections.

The Circle stays small because trust does not scale. Members meet us in person, in Zurich or wherever the piece is.

A word from the founder

We started because collectors had plenty of dealers and very few people on their side. The Circle is small on purpose. Every piece we place, we would have bought ourselves.

What we stand for

Three things we never trade.

Discretion

Mandates, prices and names stay between us. Always.

Judgement

We say no to a piece more often than yes. That is the service.

Access

The pieces that never reach the market reach the Circle.

Where

Our office sits in Kreis 1, a few steps from Paradeplatz and the lake. Visits are by appointment. We are equally happy to come to you, or to the piece.
